1920's Women's Fashion Show Illustrations

This website is dedicated to 1920's women's fashions. The turn of the calendar page from 1919 to 1920 brought out many new styles, most showing a bit of leg which was almost unheard of in previous decades. The 1920's was also the era of the "Flapper" and although the styles depicted here are from the early 1920's and a little less risque than later in the decade, you can see from these illustrations the direction that fashion was headed.

This is a rare look at these illustrations. The information in this catalog was limited to only parties of interest for purchasing these styles for sale in their own boutiques. It was not information that was available to the general public. It is therefore a scarce look at Chanel and other styles that were only seen by the era's elite.
