Give the Gift of Fresh Air

Updated on August 4, 2013

Give an Air Purfier to a Pet Owner!

Do you have friends or family that have pets? I think almost everyone does.

Living with a dog, cat or both, you can truly understand shedding; unless your pet has hair instead of fur, or no hair at all.

At any holiday or occasion, and as house warming gifts, I have given air purifiers. They are truly the gift that keeps on giving.

I can highly recommend a Honeywell Air Purifier as a gift to anyone you love. The two types that I own are shown below.

Please feel free to look around and participate and let me know if you liked this idea or this site in the Guestbook.

Thanks for the visit!

Dust and Dander Go Away

Don't come back another day

Growing up, I never thought about air purifiers and my Father would probably have thought of them as a gadget. Fresh air was just being outside, even though there was a lot of pollen where I lived.

Today, I can't live without them. Even in the Fall, when it is cool outside and we have the doors or windows open, we still leave the purifiers running as they will keep the air fresh in the immediate area.

We had these purifiers during our last move and we had to use a litter box for our feline friend. We kept the air purifiers running and it kept the air fresh for us.

I don't think too many would think of giving an appliance for Christmas, but this is one that will keep your friends or family healthy and if you are selfish, the air will be nice when you visit also.

I can't think of better gifts and usually try to find good deals on them throughout the year and keep them to give to someone who has never received one from me.

The ultimate gift of health, fresh air!

What the Heck-a is Hepa?

"HEPA" is an acronym for High-Efficiency Particulate Air.

These are filters that are so good that they are used in medical facilities and places where the air must be very clean. The Government needs efficiency at 99.7% (the percentage of particles that are filtered) and these filters are excellent for that use.

Several years ago, the development of HEPA was included in home air purifiers.

HEPA filters use various fibers and they more efficient than the membrane filters that were previously used in air filtration systems.

HEPA filters are very good for your health as they filter all of the air in your house several times a day.

Many love pets but many are also allergic. Would you own a pet if you had pet allergies?
