TERRY WHO?
Exactly who is Terry? Filled with inspiration of "Where's Waldo", sometimes, I even ask myself.
Generations of Terry's have existed, some very famous, some not so famous. Some appeared on "What's My Line", some appeared on "Whose Line is it Anyway", some just do line dancing, some are standing in the wrong line, and too many just have lines of B.S.
Most of the time, I find myself just an eclectic person who makes attempts at wit; less than half of the time, people think I'm witty...does this make me a Half-Wit? Although, I do like Twitter; I may just be "Twitty".
This website is about me...or is it? News at 11, tune in to find out. You won't be sorry.
IS IT SAFE TO TALK ABOUT ME?
Let's face it, in this world of identity theft and a need to keep our information safe, is it really safe to talk about me? I don't really like to talk about myself, but I will reveal things about me that nobody else knows and information that probably doesn't matter to anyone, except me. This is information about me that you may never know otherwise, or probably really don't care about. I want you to have fun in this journey; you may not only learn about me, you may learn something about yourself also!
THE ORIGIN OF TERRY
Other than from my mother, and some from test tubes, here is the Dictionary of American Family Names, Oxford University Press explanation of the origin of Terry. I didn't think I was so complicated. I was always told I came from the Twinkle of my father's eyes!
English and Irish: from the common Norman personal name, T(h)erry (Old French Thierri), composed of the unattested Germanic element þeudo- 'people', 'race' + ric 'power'. Theodoric was the name of the Ostrogothic leader (c. 454-526) who invaded Italy in 488 and established his capital at Ravenna in 493. His name was often taken as a derivative of Greek Theodoros (see Theodore). There was an Anglo-Norman family of this name in County Cork.
Irish: Anglicized ('translated') form of Gaelic Mac Toirdhealbhaigh (see Turley).
Southern French: occupational name for a potter, from Occitan terrin 'earthenware vase' (a diminutive of terre 'earth', Latin terra).

Antiques are things one generation buys, the next generation gets rid off, and the following generation buys at auction at amazing prices.
I love buying and selling, have done that most of my life. I would like to be an Antique Scout....let me know if you want me to find you something!
ADVICE FROM ME!
When you buy collectibles in a store, always write them down first and go home to look them up to see if you can make money or get a better price!

ADVICE FROM ME!
Be generous to others and do not question it. God gave us his money to manage on this earth while we are here. It is still God's when we leave the earth! Any investment in others will always multiply back in multiples!
