Adding Cinnamon to your Coffee Could Help You Live Longer

Updated on February 18, 2013

Cinnamon Tastes Great and Can Prevent Many Illnesses

I have always loved cinnamon, but didn't know its healing properties until recently. Certainly, there is more research pending on it but I am not waiting for the FDA.

Recently, I began adding it to my coffee and I am not sure if it is a placebo effect, but I'm feeling better already!

Read below to find out about it possible healing attributes and also what it can cure and prevent which include forms of cancer, arthritis and more.

It is a pretty amazing little substance and it also tastes good. I am not a Doctor but my Doctor did recommend this for me.

Have fun and thanks for the visit!

Do not use cinnamon without first consulting with your Physician. Some may be allergic to it and this site is only informational and not intended as medical advice.

Cinnamon, Not Just For the Taste

Cinnamon is now being touted as a miracle drug. Research is showing that it can help prevent and also eliminate many diseases.

I started taking it on the advice of my Doctor because of my Type 2 Diabetes. He said that it has been shown to lower blood sugar and also lower bad cholesterol. I started drinking it mixed in my coffee and also taking cinnamon tablets.

Since I have started using it, I have found that it is not only good to help lower glucose levels for diabetics; it is being shown as a marvelous cure for arthritis and other conditions listed below in a chart. There are no guarantees but it is inexpensive and I figure I will do anything to prolong my health on this Earth.

There is also promising research into it's use in alleviating leukemia and lymphomatic cancer. I am not a Doctor but I believe that God put different substances here on the Earth for us to use and I will use them if they benefit me.

I also like the taste, but that is a matter of opinion.

You should first check with your own Doctor and find out if it is right for you. I would much rather use cinnamon than ingest pharmaceutical drugs.

Amazon has a wonderful way to ensure that you get what you need, get them in large quantities, and get them quickly. While you can buy cinnamon just about anywhere, I found that this size of bottle lasts a long time and is most convenient for everyday use.

The Cinnamon Dare Challenge

Do NOT try this at home

Over the past several years, a dare game that has been tried is called the Cinnamon Dare. The person that is dared is asked to swallow a spoonful of cinnamon. The following videos show what happens. Although cinnamon is good for you and potentially lifesaving, you should use it minimally and always ONLY after consultation with your physician.

How to Make Coffee Better than Starbucks! - Great way to save money in this economy

How to Make Coffee So Good You'll Never Waste Money on Starbucks Again
How to Make Coffee So Good You'll Never Waste Money on Starbucks Again
When I worked in the business environment, I saw people drinking Starbucks coffee daily. I almost think it was more of a prestige thing to be seen with a cup of java from Starbucks than the actual taste. With the poor economy, we are always looking for ways to cut corners and this is one of them. Why not make something better than Starbucks and save that extra cash to take bills, or buy that item that you have always wanted? You don't need to tell anyone, just put the extra coin in a jar and wait for it to collect. You can even use a Starbucks cup to fill up, nobody will know the difference!
