The Coincidence that Nobody Knew
I recently ran across a fact that I thought was interesting.
Many people find it interesting to know what famous people had at their last meals. I am one of those.
While it is recorded for death row inmates and other infamous people, there are also websites dedicated to famous people.
I did a little research on Abraham Lincoln's last meal. Lincoln's detailed agenda of his last day only made note of what he had for breakfast. Through other records, it was found that he did have a last dinner before going to Ford's Theatre.
However, Lincoln's agenda did record that he had coffee and an egg at 8 A.M. on the day he was assassinated.
Since I found Lincoln's information, I was curious to find out what John F. Kennedy ate for breakfast. Since he was assassinated in the morning and since he was on a political trip to Dallas, Texas, his breakfast was recorded in history.
John F. Kennedy's last breakfast consisted of coffee, eggs (soft-boiled), bacon, and toast with marmalade. He also had orange juice.
So, both President Lincoln and Kennedy had eggs and coffee, a simple but interesting fact and coincidence!
