The Butterfly Effect by Andy Andrews
Does Your Life Really Matter? Yes it Does!
This website is about "The Butterfly Effect - How Your Life Matters" is a book by Andy Andrews, a New York Times Best-Selling Author. It was written in 2009.
"The Butterfly Effect" is a beautiful book with a beautiful story. It shows anyone how their life has an effect on others and how little things can cause big things to happen. It is based on the premise that every action in life is important. We are not put here for without a purpose or reason; our life is part of God's plan for us.
The book takes us through the life of two famous individuals and how their lives have affected us forever. This is not just a spiritual book, it is a book that shows us that our life here really matters and that we all have a purpose.
This book had a significant impact on me and instead of shelving it after I read it, I chose to pass it to someone else and everyone who reads it will sign inside the cover. I hope that this little traveling book has its impact as much as the writer intended it to have!
Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain;
His decision saved us all!
The first section of this book deals with Union Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain and the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War.
A single decision by Chamberlain affected all of us and without creating a spoiler, I will only say that Chamberlain was one of the greatest examples of the Butterfly Effect and it is well worth waiting to find out why.

George Washington Carver;
Feel the beat of his butterfly wings!!
The second section of this book talks about George Washington Carver and how "The Butterfly Effect" , because of him, has saved billions of lives.
If it weren't for him, we probably wouldn't be here. However, I may be confused; was it really due to George Washington Carver or someone else? I am not sure now!
This book brings out the detective in you and also builds your self-esteem. You don't need to have been a famous person to have your effect on others.
This book is a very interesting read!
