Stress Relief using Sight and Sound
After a rough day, do you wonder how you can relieve some of that stress or anxiety that has built inside of you? You don't want to take the stress out on your spouse or partner,
Many people listen to music or just unwind on the drive home but some don't have those outlets to let them rid themselves of stress.
Personally, I like to put my headphones on and listen to soothing music. While I sometimes close my eyes, I also like to look at green pastoral images. I find them very soothing and relaxing.
Join me in this little journey and hopefully some of your stress will be relieved by the end of the website. This is here to help but I may put some light participation in for your enjoyment.

Ever Wonder Why Green is so Soothing?
How can green get me to relieve my stress?
Green, is scientifically the most soothing color to the human eye. Why is that?
Well, if you know anything about the color spectrum that we can see, green falls directly in the middle. It takes less stress and strain to see and is actually used in stress-free environments.
Green is the color that is least given speeding tickets (by human police) and it is also the color on most vehicle dashboards. You do not strain your eyes as much and it makes driving easier. i have had cars with red dashboards and they just don't feel right to me.
Green images are also very soothing and in therapy, they are sometimes flashed to patients to deescalate them. They not only calm down bu the physiological responses such as heart rate and blood pressure are decreased.
So, if you really need to have a good night's sleep, get a DVD or just watch green images on your computer screen. You can also do this at work, right before you go home. You will notice a world of difference before jumping into your car or bus.
