The Headless Horseman is in Bed - The Enchanted Garden by Day

Updated on October 15, 2013

Yes, during Halloween, we think of Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horseman, but have you ever wondered what the Enchanted Garden was like during the day?

It turns out, it is a typical garden and unlike many others, it is very pleasant and has incredible music.

I love beautiful music, especially piano. Anything soft and soothing is usually what I listen to during the day. I first heard "The Enchanted Garden" on Pandora. I marked the song as a favorite but then decided that I would like to hear the rest of the album. Amazon had a great deal where I could download it immediately, and as a bonus, they mailed it to me on compact disc so I could play it in my truck.

This music is very soothing. Growing up, I remember the sounds of the garden and now that Fall has arrived, I love to hear the wind rustling through the trees and feel the soft cool breeze that hits my skin. Fall is indeed my favorite time of the year.

My references to Sleepy Hollow come from the cover of the CD. As night approaches, I can see this scene turn dark and can hear the whistling of the wind. The owls make noises in the trees and I can also feel the coolness of the night air in my nostrils.

In the distance, I think I hear a horse. The sound is swiftly approaching and I can see the Headless Horseman as he comes through the trees at full force. I duck behind a tree as he passes by.

Well, at least I can see that in my imagination. Let's just focus on the daytime and listen to some beautiful music.

More beautiful music by Kevin Kern and renditions that take you outside of the garden.

Imagination's Light
Imagination's Light
I have a very active imagination and "Imaginations Light" is another beautiful collection by Kevin Kern. I'll bet you didn't think light could be musical!

Summer Daydreams
Summer is over but there is nothing wrong with thinking about the warm skies and the sensations of a beautiful Summer day. Think about Summers past and yet to come while listening to this compilation.

Endless Blue Sky
Endless Blue Sky
Blue skies are common here in Arizona. The endless blue sky is something that is magnificent to see. The light blue color is something I can never get enough of. Imagine that sky and the music that accompanies it. This is the soundtrack you will hear.

You may have Fall colors right in our backyard near the garden, but if you don't, you can certainly marvel at Fall by looking at photos and listening to calming sounds of Autumn.

The sunset is one of my favorite things and rain also makes the sunset spectacular.

I can almost smell the freshness after the rain.

More beautiful Fall photos and music.

What could be better?
